Stainless steel plates
- Divided like a canteen tray
- Can't go in the microwave, so warming up means a second dish
- Clangs and scrapes on every bite
- The silicone base is often thin and slides around

PLATE
Why we made it
Same steel, same compartments, same school-canteen look. We loved the idea of a lower-tox plate, but not the lunch line. Watch the swap, or drag it yourself.
PlateWhat keeps going wrong
Parents told us the same stories over and over. Plates that slide, sleeves that peel off, inserts that pop out mid-meal. So we fixed each one.

Myth vs fact
Most parents we spoke to loved the idea of glass but had a few worries. Tap each one to see how the Boo Plate answers it.
The glass is wrapped right over the rim in 3mm silicone. If it's knocked off the high chair, it lands on silicone, never on the glass.
Steel is brilliant for cups (we make them). On a plate, glass gives you the same peace of mind and also goes in the microwave and oven. Glass and LFGB-tested silicone, nothing else touches their food.
Most are thin and stop below the rim. Ours is 3mm thick and custom made for our glass, so it's snug and can't be peeled off.
Small suction cups give up. The Boo Plate's base is much wider than the glass, and the M&B tab means it only lets go when you want it to.
Side by side
Steel and ceramic plates are everywhere right now. Here's how they stack up against the Boo Plate.

Every detail, considered
How it works
Place it on a smooth, flat surface like a high chair tray and press from the centre.
Warm it in the microwave or oven first if you like. The glass handles hot and cold.
When they're done, lift the M&B tab and the suction lets go.
Glass, silicone and cutlery all go straight in.

From our family table
Mini & Boo started with our own family's allergies and a wish for a calmer, lower-tox home. As a mum of three girls, I wanted pieces that felt safe, worked hard and looked beautiful on the table.
The Boo Plate was designed from scratch and a long time in the making. It's the first plate like it, and you won't find it anywhere else.
What it's made of
The glass used in lab and oven ware. No metal taste, no stains, no smells.
Made to fit our glass exactly and wrapped over the rim.
Much wider than the glass, with the M&B release tab.
Spoon and fork with soft silicone handles.
Care
Heat or bake straight on the plate.
No moving food to another dish.
Glass, silicone and cutlery.
Wipe the suction base and the tray before pressing it down. Skip scourers and the stovetop.

Good to know
The silicone wraps over the top edge of the glass, so it lands on silicone, never on the glass. As with any glass, keep an eye on little ones at mealtimes.
Our silicone is custom made to fit our glass exactly and wraps over the rim, so it's snug and little hands can't peel it off.
On smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces like a high chair tray or sealed table. Press down from the centre and lift the M&B tab to release.
Yes. It's oven safe up to 230°C, and it goes in the microwave and dishwasher too.

The $9 cutlery add-on always matches the plate it's added to. For a different colour, buy the Boo Cutlery set on its own for $15.
